Photoshoot Secrets & Vintage Styling Tips: This photoshoot was part of a much bigger shoot we did with this awesome team of creatives, where we shot 3 stories in one day. This shoot focuses on our 3 dreamy ethereal brides, and it sits alongside our ‘Summer Garden Wedding’ bohemian bridal shoot and our ‘Candy Coloured Bridesmaids Shoot’ showcasing some of the beautiful colourful bridesmaid dress styles you can find in our sister store ‘Those Were The Days Vintage’.
Photographer Anneleen is renowned for capturing beautiful, dreamy images, and several of her gorgeous images from this photoshoot have already been exhibited at prestigious photography exhibitions in the UK and Europe! They have also been published in several high profile wedding magazines and blogs such as Scottish Wedding, Tie the Knot, the Scottish Herald, The Herald Luxury magazine, and @wearetheweddingcollective.
In this story, we chose to dress our models in some of our ethereal, boho, prairie style 1970s wedding dresses, and some of our rare 1960s colourpop dresses. We styled some of these looks with delicate vintage bridal accessories such as tiaras and handbags, and shot them with some of @bimiorigami’s amazing paper floral decorations and corsages. Our models hair and make up was styled in a very natura, relaxed way for our 1970s dresses, and bit more colour was added to their make up, and some hair up styles were created for the looks with the 1960s dresses.
We love these all of the images from this story and the other 2 stories that make up this epic editorial photoshoot, and we’re very proud of how much media exposure they’ve received.
